Your macOS. Your Xcode.
Choose the environment your workflow needs, then choose a runner size. Every job starts in a fresh VM.
Loading available images…
A digest pin never silently moves. Superseded images remain runnable for at least 30 days, with a separate retirement notice at least 7 days before the deadline. Already accepted jobs keep their image.

Immutable image identity
Each accepted job records this digest. Running jobs keep their assigned image when a channel is updated.
Predictable updates
macOS 15 and macOS 26 are separate channels. An OS selector never switches you to a different major version. An exact Xcode selector is accepted only when that version is installed.
Default-channel replacements are qualified and announced at least 7 days before rollout. New opt-in images can be offered without changing your current channel. A channel is maintained over time; selecting an Xcode version does not freeze every other package. Every job records its immutable image digest for troubleshooting.
SDKs provide APIs for compilation; simulator runtimes provide the operating systems used to run tests. Check both against your workflow. The versions listed here describe installed software, not a guarantee that every project or third-party action is compatible.
